I've had no earrings for about 2,5 months and my lobes have reduced to 3 mm and look like small striae. I hope they will shrink in 3-4 months. So there is nothing to worry about :-) Good luck! Anything smaller than that will most likely (not guaranteed) shrink back to "normal" (16/18g) size or close completely. I know a person who went all the way to 1/4" and it shrunk back to 14g over 6 months (where he wanted them to stop).
